Meeting Summary & Glory of God on Cape Cod update, March 25, 2010

Dear fellow believers on Cape Cod,
Thank you to those who could participate last night in the monthly Glory of God corporate prayer meeting at The Vineyard: A Community Church, here in Hyannis. For those who could not attend, we missed you but are excited to share the things that happened. The event was an amazing time where there was great fellowship, a strong sense of God moving in worship, great impartation, and a wonderful time of seeking God together.
Some things we felt God saying were as follows:
1) God is inviting us to cry out for 'Salvation" in the cities and towns where we live, and that the number was specifically 100,000 new converts. We were encouraged not to "aim low" in our faith.
2) This invitation is also one of "active participation". We were encouraged to "do something" for God each day to bring His Kingdom to the people around us. Referencing Scriptures used were Matt 28, 'Go and make disciples of all nations" and Hab 2:14 "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea". This message was proclaimed to us by different young people in attendance. It was a blessing for all in attendance to witness this.
3) We must persist and persevere through attacks that have come, and will continue to come as we actively participate in God's plan. James 1: 3-4 "because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature".
I would like to close by making an invitation to the next corporate prayer meeting on April 28th from 7-8pm at Christ Chapel in Centerville.
