Mid-Cape Gathering preparation: Day 21

*" His body also was like beryl, his face had the appearance of lightning,
his eyes were like flaming torches, his arms and feet like the gleam of
polished bronze, and the sound of his words like the sound of a tumult. Now
I, Daniel, alone saw the vision; nevertheless, a great dread fell on them,
and they ran away to hide themselves. So I was left alone and saw this great
vision; yet no strength was left in me, for my natual color turned to a
deathly pallor, and I retained no strength...Then behold, a hand touched me
and set me trembling on my hands and knees." *Daniel 10:6-8, 10

Daniel, a man greatly beloved by God, was granted an overpowering vision. He
was left speechless and breathless, and all his strength was drained from
him. The messenger in the vision Daniel saw was only a lower-ranked angel.
What would it have been like to have beheld Michael or even the Lord
Himself? Without a doubt, such revelation would change our thinking about a
lot of things. Our worship will be ignited with passion. Whether by insight
and spiritual revelation or by visions in technicolor, the effect is the
same.

PRAYER STARTER:

*Lord, I long for a vision of You. Reveal Yourself to me, and show me the
things that I must change in my life to become more like You.*
**

A NEW REVELATION OF GOD'S HOLINESS ALWAYS SHINES THE SPOTLIGHT ON OUR OWN
CONDITION.
