The Glory of God on Cape Cod: December 12, 2007, update

"Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart
to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were
heard; and I have come because of your words" Daniel 10:12

"Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the
altar. He was given much in incense, that He should offer it with the
prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar, which was before the
throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints,
ascended before God from the angel's hand.."
Revelation 8:3,4

The above verses are a behind the scenes picture of what happens when
we pray. God is looking for us to stand before Him in prayer, and when
we respond in obedience, He in turn loves to listen and respond to our
prayers. Our prayers are not merely words we say in one another's
hearing, but they actually ascend to God's ears and moves Him to

Today we continued to pray for the Glory of God on Cape Cod vision,
for unity among all pastors and leaders on the Cape, from Provincetown
to the bridges, and for the upcoming Mid-Cape gathering, Sat. February
2, 2008. We continue to sense the hand of God in our midst and His
promises to be magnified among us, the body of Christ on Cape Cod. The
Sacred Assembly was a focal point, a rallying cry for the troops to
come together. It was a Nehemiah 4:20 call, and now we are in a
building phase.

Please begin letting your congregation know about the upcoming Mid-
Cape gathering, Sat, Feb 2, at the Cape Cod Community College, from
3-6 pm. Registration is now open on our website:
You vcan register by going under "Special Events" on the Home Page,
click on "Mid-Cape Gathering", and then on "Register for this event".
Registration is free and it helps us with planning/seating/how many
people to expect...etc.
Please put this info on your Sunday church bulletins and on your
church website.

The gathering will be primarily worship and prayer, interspersed with
brief sharing/impartation of key principles for the Glory of God in
our midst:

a. Intimacy with God, which is the foundation of it all :It is
the realization/revelation of God's love for us that compels us to
respond to Him, that "we love Him because He loved us first"

b. Holiness in the context of (a.) above :Our obedience is
motivated by, and is an expression of, our love for God

c. Our role as "watchmen" in Prayer and Intercession: " I have
set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem (equivalent to Cape Cod for
us), They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make
mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest, till He
establishes Jerusalem a praise in the earth (equivalent to till He
manifests His Glory in our midst on the Cape)". Isaiah 62:67

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year....
