The Glory of God on Cape Cod: July 9, 2008 update (poster attached)

*" O Lord, how long shall I cry, and you will not hear ? Even cry out to
You, "Violence!" and You will not save.*
* Why do You show me iniquity, and cause me to see trouble?....for the
wicked surround the righteous; therefore perverse judgment
proceeds...." *Habakkuk
1:2-4

The Lord's response:

*"Look among the nations and watch-Be utterly astounded! For I will work a
work in your days which you would not believe though it were told you."*
Habakkuk 1:5

Today pastors and leaders from across the Cape and across denominational
lines, met again to pray for the vision that the Lord deposited in our
hearts, a vision of His Glory in our midst and the subsequent outbreak of
revival.

Today we discussed waiting upon the Lord. Throughout the scriptures, there
is a recurring theme where God's people are waiting for the Lord to act and
He is seemingly silent and not responding. The scripture above is one of
many examples of this. The Lord's response was that He is not silent, and He
always moves in His own time, and never fails.

Similarly, the Lord has stirred our hearts with a vision for His Glory in
our midst and the subsequent outbreak of revival, yet sometimes we look
around us and see the darkness prevailing in our society at times, and we
don't yet see what we are waiting for ..... the Lord's answer to us is *"
For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, *
*and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely
come." *Habakkuk 2:3.

Blessings,
