The Glory of God on Cape Cod: September 17, 2008 update

Today pastors and leaders from across the Cape and across denominational
lines, met again to pray for the vision that the Lord deposited in our
hearts, a vision of His Glory in our midst and the subsequent outbreak of
*"The Lord did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, those
who are here today, all of us who are alive." *Deut 5:3

*"But this is the (new) covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
after those days, says the Lord:** I will put My law in their minds, and
write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My
people." *Jer 31:33

*"Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not
come to destroy but to fulfill" *Mat 5:17

*"Who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the
letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life."
*2 Cor 3:6

Today we discussed the fact that we are people of covenant with the Lord.
Our covenant is that He will dwell among us, as we set ourselves apart in
holiness to obey Him. These are two sides of the same coin, and we cannot
have one without the other.
As we consecrate ourselves to Him, and separate ourselves from the world, we
become a suitable dwelling place for Him.
