Invitation to the October GOGCC Prayer Meeting at Redemption Rock Church

By Mike Pratt |  October 7, 2016

Hello!

I’m Mike Pratt, the pastor of Redemption Rock (formerly First Light Church) in South Chatham!  What an honor it is to invite you to the next Glory of God on Cape Cod Prayer Meeting!  This month, October, the Glory of God on Cape Cod Prayer Meeting will be held at Redemption Rock at 195 Meeting House Rd, South Chatham, MA 02659 on October 26 from 6:30 – 8 PM.  Redemption Rock’s web site is www.redemptionrock.net and you can call our office at (508) 432-8022 if you need any questions answered about our church.  Also, my cell phone is (774) 209-0182 if you’d like to call me directly.

I’m really looking forward to this month’s GGCC prayer meeting since each prayer meeting I’ve attended in the past has been a source of inspiration for me!  I’m always encouraged as I watch people from many different denominations, cultural and ethnic backgrounds gathering together to seek the face of God through united prayer and adoration of Jesus.

Since we are now in the month of October and since this is the last full month before the national elections in our country and since this election cycle is so divisive for our country, I pray that each of us remembers the reason that we gather together each month.  As the prophet wrote in 2 Chronicles 7:14, we must humble ourselves before God, pray and seek God’s face and turn from our wicked ways so that God will hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our land.  As we Christians humble ourselves before God and pray, we will see many people come to Christ for salvation through revival in our land.  Let’s seek God for revival on Cape Cod!

As I’m sure you’re well aware, Jesus is the only ultimate hope for our national and our world.  That’s why I’d like to especially invite those of you who are 30 years old or younger.  You are the leaders of tomorrow and it is imperative that you are immersed in God’s Word and in prayer as you venture out into this vast world.  It is imperative that all of us go from “leaning on our own understanding” to “trusting in the Lord with all our hearts and acknowledging Him” so that God can direct our path.  We do that primarily by seeking God through his Word and through prayer.  This month’s GGCC Prayer Meeting is a wonderful place to do just that!

I pray that you’ll join us on October 26 at the next GGCC Prayer Meeting at Redemption Rock!

See you there!
