Glory of God on Cape Cod Prayer Meeting Summary

by Nick Gatzke on June 29, 2012

 Dear Friends,

This past Wednesday night a diverse group of people joined together at Osterville Baptist Church to pray that God would make His glory known to our beloved Cape.  There are so many who are lost around us and in need of the Savior.  Our meeting could be summarized by a time of vibrant, cross-centered musical worship and focussed prayer.  Pastor Myron Heckman reminded us of the different prerequisites to revival from 2 Chronicles 7:14 and we approached the throne of the Almighty One in prayer with confidence, hope and unified desperation.  To be bound together in heart, voice, and purpose was and continues to be a delightful thing.  Many left our time together encouraged and we continue in the hope of salvation for our friends and neighbors.
As a Pastor, I want to encourage you to keep going.  I know that a protracted season of seeking the Lord for revival without seeing God's glory made manifest on a huge scale could potentially lead to discouragement or lack of resolve.  Have Faith!  We believe in a sovereign God who will enact his perfect will in his perfect time.  He calls us to pray.  So we continue to humble ourselves do just that.
Please join us next month on July 25th at Mid-Cape Worship Center as we again join in unified desperation for God to save the masses of Cape Cod.  For directions please see their website:
Blessings in Christ,
Most Sincerely,
Pastor Nick Gatzke
