Invitation to Special GOGCC Holy Week Meeting with Dr. Seong Hyun Park

by Michael Malanga on March 8, 2018
To Our Glory of God on Cape Cod Partners in Prayer,
With great hope in the gospel as the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, and on behalf of the congregation of Christ Chapel, it is my privilege to invite you to attend the next monthly prayer meeting of the Glory of God on Cape Cod to be held at Christ Chapel, 1200 Old Stage Road, Centerville on Wednesday, March 28th from 6:30pm to 8pm.
This monthly gathering, which will take place during Holy Week, will be a time for Christians, young and old, from various churches representing a variety of denominations, and cultural/ethnic backgrounds, to unite in prayer for a God-focused, Christ-centered, Spirit-driven Gospel awakening and revival on the Cape.

Since awakening and revival are why we meet for prayer, we have invited Dr. Seong Hyun Park to speak on the topic "Lessons from the Korean Revival". Dr. Park is Assistant Professor of Old Testament at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Dean of the Boston Campus for GCTS.
Let us gather with a sense of expectation that as we ask the Lord to open the hearts of men and women to the good news of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, we may have greater boldness to proclaim His Gospel with boldness.

"The influence of the Spirit of God is yet more abundantly manifest, if persons have their hearts drawn off from the world, and weaned from the objects of their worldly lusts, and taken off from worldly pursuits, by the sense they have of the excellency of divine things, and the affection they have to those spiritual enjoyments of another world, that are promised in the gospel." ~ Jonathan Edwards, The Marks of a True Work of the Spirit

May the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ send His Spirit to help us be His witnesses so that with His help, peoples' hearts may be drawn away from the attractions of this world to the surpassing excellency of Jesus Christ and His gospel.
With trust in Him who upholds all things by the power of His Word,
Michael Malanga,
