Invitation to the August GOGCC Prayer Meeting at New Life Christian Center

by Stephen Russell on July 31, 2018
Dear fellow believers,

Individuals have a voice before God’s throne, found in scriptures such as Philippians 4:6 where we are encouraged to "In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God”. (ESV)

However, we also have a corporate voice. The body of Christ has a recognizable voice before that throne of God, a unique voice in that we are God’s representatives here ‘on earth’, going about expanding God’s kingdom ‘as it is in heaven'. An example of the power of corporate prayer is found in Acts 12:5, "So Peter was kept in prison, but earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church…”, with the result of Peter being delivered from prison in a totally supernatural way. The corporate church in this instance took to intercession with powerful results.

In the same way, when we gather and pray as the community of God on Cape Cod, we are going to shift the unmovable, open ‘prison doors’ and cause God’s glory to be seen among us and within our spheres of influence.

With this in mind, the New Life family warmly invite you to our next Glory of God prayer gathering. Here are the details:

Where: New Life Christian Center - 486 Main St, Dennis Port, MA 02639.
When:  August 22nd at 6:30 pm.

For further information please visit us at

You’re invited to come help ’shift’ the mountains”, “move the immovable” and see the “prison doors open”.
