Meeting Summary :: 02/27/13 :: First Baptist Church of Pocassett

by Ed de la Cour on March 3, 2013

Dear Friends,

We were thrilled and honored to welcome the churches of Cape Cod on Wednesday, February 27, and to host the regional Glory of God on Cape Cod regional prayer meeting in our church.

We've noticed a wonderful increase in responsive worship in recent months, and for this we are grateful.  The Lord seems to be encouraging  us in seeking the revelation of the presence of God among us.  Another increasing theme is a fresh desire for the salvation of the lost.  We have all be lacking in zeal in this area, and we stand in need of the Lord's correction.  Pastor Nick Gatzke from Osterville also added correction as he opened the Gospel of Mark to show the necessity of suffering, as many believers around our world already have experienced.  We believe God is moving to awaken His Church, making us all uncomfortable with the prospect of multitudes of thousands remaining hopelessly unsaved.  That awakening happens as the Church deals with pride and the ruling power of self, in order to receive a willingness to engage in any full expression of evangelism.
Please make every effort to join us again on the fourth Wednesday of March for the next regional prayer meeting of The Glory of God on Cape Cod on March 27, 2013 at 6:30 P.M.  This time, Reverend Bernard harris, Sr., and the people of Zion Union Church, 805 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, will be our hosts.  For more information and directions, please go to:
Thank you!
