Regarding the Church Fire at Cape Cod Bible Alliance Church

by Don Boucher on December 18, 2012

I wanted to respond to the writer on the Brewster church fire. I recently spent a week long vacation in Brewster. I spent a great deal of time on the walking and bike trails in the area. I was moved by freedom that I had in prayer. My family and I go to various resorts annually. There was something different about Brewster. I knew that my freedom to speak to God and hear from him was the result of people that had been praying in that community. I am grieved by your experience but I am thankful to the saints in your community that pray. I frankly was not surprised by the fire news. It somehow seemed consistent with my knowledge that "somebody in this place is paying the cost" I am not trying to be insensitive but to congratulate your community on a life of prayer that I know that I directly benefited from. I will be praying for the Lord's favor upon a new place of worship for you. I am confident that your faith community has been a city set on a hill for those on the Cape who do not know our Lord and Savior.
