Report on the Mashpee GOGCC Public Worship and Prayer Gathering

by The GOGCC team on October 5, 2021

Dear friends,

Last Sunday we had a wonderful gathering of God's people from different churches across the Cape at the Masphee Community Center.

We gathered together as one body in worship, and prayer for our beloved Cape Cod. A worship team from the Brazilian IPR Church in Haynnis led us in annointed worship exalting the Lord Jesus together. Brother Wayne Jackson, a Native American from Mashpee Baptist Church shared a word from the Scriptures on the crucial need for unity in the body of Christ. The Mashpee choir led us in singing together a beautiful song "What a fellowship".

Pastor Mike Allen of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship led the gathering. Pastors from differnt churches took turns leading us in prayer for revival on Cape Cod. This was followed by a time of small group prayer.

It was a wonderful time when we experienced the presence of God in our midst and the pleasure of God over us.

We received the following testimony from sister Marie:

"What a truly wonderful gathering we had today!
Grey clouds were overhead but the SON was there for us to offer up our heart-felt prayers to HIM who honored us with HIS Glorious Presence. Things will never be the same on Cape Cod after this!
Praise the LORD!
And thank you and all the good pastors who over the past months have attended these blessed Prayer Meetings.
May GOD suit a special blessing to each and every one of you.
In Jesus Name,

Over the last 5 months, the Lord led us to hold these outdoor Public Worship and Prayer gatherings, and provided great weather on the days that we met, praise God! We are grateful for such a wonderful opportunity!

A special thanks for the Brazilian IPR Church in Hyannis, for pastor Marcelo Franco the worship pastor and his team, for the IPR sound team, for the generosity of the IPR church to use the music and sound equipement, for the time and effort they put in. They led us in a wonderful annointed time of worship the last 5 months.

Also a special thank you for pastor Rob Cumming of Gateway Christian Fellowship, and Lisa Hodges of New Life Christian Center, for also leading us along with IPR church in annointed worship those past 5 months.

Thank you to all the pastors and leaders who came to these gatherings and encouraged others to come stand together in united prayer.

We are going to take November and December off due to the busy holiday season, and we will resume our multi-church united prayer gatherings in January. Stay tuned for details!

"I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem (O Cape Cod);
They shall never hold their peace day or night.
You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent,
And give Him no rest till He establishes
And till He makes Jerusalem (Cape Cod) a praise in the earth.(Till the Glory of God be known and seen on Cape Cod)"
