Report on Wednesday's GOGCC Meeting in Truro

by Sheldon Clarkson on August 27, 2011

 Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Thanks to everyone who attended last Wednesday night's Glory of God on Cape Cod prayer meeting at the Chapel on the Pond in North Truro.
The meeting was held amidst a sense of unity and common purpose among the churches represented.  God's faithfulness to prolonged and sincere prayer was acknowledged by the participants as the brethren were updated on the inroads that the gospel is making in Provincetown.  There was a sense of awe and humility as we realized that the Great Commission is a concern of us all and that the gospel will advance into the darkest areas of our communities if we are willing to step out and trust him for the results.  Another theme is that even though many of our churches are small in number, we can make a significant impact for the kingdom if we move as one in the power of the Holy Spirit to accomplish the purposes that the Lord has for us.  As we continue to meet together monthly, let us continue to pray for revival and expect God to do great things in and through all of our churches.
Next Glory of God on Cape Cod meeting will be at Mashpee Baptist Church on September 28th.  We hope to see you all there.
Co-Laboring With You All,
Pastor Sheldon Clarkson,
Outer Cape Christian Church
