Mark Your Calendar: GOGCC Monthly Cape Cod Worship and Prayer Gathering at IPR Cape Cod Church in Hyannis 1/25/2023

by The GOGCC team on January 3, 2023

"I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem (Cape Cod); They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem (Cape Cod) a praise in the earth (A place where His glory dwells)" (Isaiah 62:6,7) Dear friends,  Hope you had a great Christmas and praying the Lord's blessings for you and your family this New Year! Mark your calendar to join us as we restart our Cape-wide monthly multi-church worship and prayer gatherings this month! Our first gathering will be: GOGCC Worship and Prayer Gathering Wednesday January 25th, 2023 7-8:30 pm IPR Cape Cod Church 90 Hinckley Road Hyannis, MA 02601 We invite you to join us as we gather together as one body and one family from different denominations, churches, ethnic backgrounds, and generations, praying in unity for our beloved Cape Cod. Here is the Facebook Event Page. Join us and invite your friends! Statement of our unity in Christ for prayer meetings: We gather to pray in one accord. Our unity glorifies God who has reconciled us to Himself and to one another. We respect our local church distinctions and secondary theological differences and we receive one another in Christ and are united in Him as He is revealed in the Bible and historically understood in the Church. Our united prayer is an instrument God uses to give birth to His purposes on Cape Cod and to the ends of the earth. The statement below summarizes why we gather as regional leaders and churches, and why we do what we do: We gather in response to the Lord's stirring us with His desire to show His glory in our midst, and the subsequent spiritual awakening/revival on Cape Cod, with multitudes coming to Christ. By pursuing unity/oneness, consecration (walking in the fear of the Lord), and united prayer, we prepare ourselves for what God wants to do in our midst. "Heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool, what kind of a house will  you (plural)  build for Me, or where is the place of  My rest ?" Acts 7:49 "In whom the whole building, being  fitted together  grows into a  holy temple  in the Lord, in whom  you (plural)  are also being  built together  for a  dwelling place of God  (The Manifest presence of God) in the Spirit." Ephesians 2:21,22 Looking forward to seeing you at the gathering!
