Invitation to the August GOGCC Prayer Meeting at Mashpee Baptist Church

by Fred Gray on August 5, 2019
To the church body on Cape Cod united in Christ Jesus, saved by his grace , called and set apart to do the work of his Ministry
Philippians 1:3-6      3  I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, 4 always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. 6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.Grace and peace to you from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.

We were thrilled to come worship and fellowship in the word with all of you last month at Calvary Chapel Yarmouth. The atmosphere was awesome and revival was in the air, praise God.
We hope to continue in that spirit of unity with everyone by inviting all to this months Glory of God on Cape Cod meeting Wed August 28th  being held at Mashpee Baptist Church. We will be outside at the town green right behind Mashpee Baptist at the Gazebo weather permitting. Please bring a chair
A special invitataion goes out to all the young believers to join us as we worship together . If we can not reach them via this email i encourage the older generation to make an attempt to reach out and bring some young person you may know or have been praying for. Build a bridge to this younger generation

 The Bridge Builder
An old man going a lone highway,
Came, at the evening cold and gray,
To a chasm vast and deep and wide.
Through which was flowing a sullen tide
The old man crossed in the twilight dim,
The sullen stream had no fear for him;
But he turned when safe on the other side
And built a bridge to span the tide.

“Old man,” said a fellow pilgrim near,
“You are wasting your strength with building here;
Your journey will end with the ending day,
You never again will pass this way;
You’ve crossed the chasm, deep and wide,
Why build this bridge at evening tide?”

The builder lifted his old gray head;
“Good friend, in the path I have come,” he said,
“There followed after me to-day
A youth whose feet must pass this way.
This chasm that has been as naught to me
To that fair-haired youth may a pitfall be;
He, too, must cross in the twilight dim;
Good friend, I am building this bridge for him!

Hallelujah!  please come a little early while we still have daylight . We are really looking forward to this months Glory of God on Cape Cod meeting.
Philippians 1:8-11       8 For God is my witness, how I yearn for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus. 9 And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, 10 so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
