Report on the November GOGCC Prayer Meeting at New Life Christian Centerby Stephen Russell on November 26, 2019
Dear church on Cape Cod,
We celebrated our unity and love through music, an uplifting message, prayer and afterwards, ministry for those wanting personal prayer. Dalene Russell shared how the unified church has to provide the answer for a polarized culture; this unity is a powerful witness to the world of a living and risen Savior. She called for the church to embrace the legacy left by the 1620 Pilgrims. That legacy demonstrated five essential attributes: As pioneers, they were a people of faith preparing to take risks for the sake of the Kingdom; they were committed to the pure doctrine of God’s Word; they were united as a group in both relationships and purpose; they were a people of prayer, and finally, they were a people of generosity, sharing what they had.
As we tap into these same perspectives, we too can be a powerful witness to the Cape of God’s love and purpose.
We also received encouragement from international evangelist, Rick Newton and his wife Doreen. They have been carrying a large cross beginning in 1975, all across the globe to hundreds of nations and leading many to Christ. They heard about the prayer meeting and were on the Cape, attending the meeting Wednesday evening here at New Life. They encouraged us with what they felt was from the Lord; what we are praying for is “imminent”, and that we are to continue in prayer and unity, believing for God’s glory to spread all over the Cape and region.
The next Glory of God meeting we invite you to is at the IPR Cape Cod Church at the airport rotary in Hyannis, January 22nd 2020. Here is a link for further information: https://www.prajesus.com
We have attached some photos of Wednesday’s meeting below. Please note there is no meeting in December.
Kind regards from the New Life family,
